12 years ago on August 6th 1997 Steve Jobs shocked attendees at Macworld in Boston by announcing a partnership Microsoft. This video is one that brings back a lot of memories and always makes me laugh. When it comes to working with Microsoft, Apple fans are not exactly the most enthusiastic of people. And the news that Internet Explorer was going to be the default browser on Macs was not exactly well received.

“We have to let go of this notion that for Apple to win, Microsoft has to lose”. Steve Jobs was a true visionary and whether or not Apple fanboys love Microsoft one thing is for sure, Microsoft breathed new life into a struggling competitor. Looking at Apple then and now it is good to see just how much things have changed for the better.
