After the previous post in which I expressed my dissatisfaction with the Movit I ran in to a TechCrunch project for a similar device.  They have released an update today with videos and pictures of the device which is essentially a tablet PC.  Overall the device is much more appealing to me just due to it’s size.  I can actually imagine using it on a regular basis for surfing the Internet.

The device is still in the prototype stage and has a long ways to go until we could ever see it for sale but it has some good potential.  One thing I would like to see added to it is an infrared port so that it could also be used as a large remote while your watching TV.

UPDATE:: The device is running a customized version of Linux and the interface is primarily an Internet browser which flows right in to another of my previous posts today.
