There are always so many excellent Linux builds that are coming out and it is difficult for me to post about each of them so I have decided to combine the last weeks releases into one quick post. This will help you to quick see if there is one that interests you.
Tuto - Version 2009: This is a release out of Argentina and as such most of the site is in spanish. The distro is Gentoo based and has support for many common Netbooks and their GPRS, 3G network connections. Download Website
Scientific Linux – Version 5.3: As the title hints, it is designed for scientific purposes. Download Website
Absolute – Version 12.2.2: Based on Slackware, this distro is primarily focused on desktops. Download Website
igElle – Version 0.6.0: Live CD with a very low memory footprint. Can be installed to a local hard drive, flash memory, usb disk, or other storage media. Download Website
OpenGEU – Version 8.10: Ubuntu based distribution featuring the Enlightenment 17 window manager. This is a really beautiful distro and I encourage you to check it out. Download Website YouTube video
K-DEMar – Version 4.8: A Debian based distro with both Catalan and Spanish support. Download Website
