Recently Palm has been getting a lot of criticism for not releasing the Palm Pre with it’s webOS or even details about when it will be released.  People are getting very eager to get their hands on it and even investors are starting to get worried about it as they are concerned that another competitor will beat Palm to market and steal the all important market share.

Some of that nervousness has been quelled now that last night on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon the editor of Engadget presented the Palm Pre to the masses.  This is a big step forward for Palm and is a good indication that either they are getting closer to release or that they realize it’s time to stop hiding in the shadows and show off their awesome product.

Crowd reaction to the Pre was pretty good and is exactly what Palm needs right now.  Hopefully they can keep up the momentum and give customers what they want in a mobile device.
