There were some screenshots that I posted earlier this week of Windows Mobile 6.5.  To say the least they were very unflattering (though apparently very real).  Thankfully these were not screenshots of the final release and was a very early Alpha release.

Today WMpoweruser has some screenshots that really make Windows Mobile 6.5 look promising.  Also clearly visible in the pictures are the rumored “honeycomb” interface.  The current rumor is that there will also be application sorting similar to the Windows Vista start menu to display the most used applications.
