Cuba goes Open Source
Cuba announced this week it is launching their own version of Linux to replace Microsoft Windows on the communist island. Apparently Windows is too “Capitalista” for them. More than likely it is getting to be too difficult for them to try and override the piracy protection.
Vietnam will be migrating to Open Source, not Windows 7
Not everyone is jumping on the enterprise Windows 7 bandwagon. Earlier this month Vietnam announced that all of their governmental computers will be loaded with open source software.
