windows-7-expiration
The Windows 7 beta has made it’s way into more users hands than any previous operating system beta. As a result of this it is important that beta users are aware of their versions expiration date.
Windows 7 Pre 7100 Builds: August 1, 2009
Windows 7 Build 7100 and Later: July 1, 2010
While these are expiration dates the betas will begin shutting down after 2 hours of usage when the expiration date begins to approach. For example the the Pre 7100 builds will start to reboot after 2 hours of usage beginning on June 1 2009. That only leaves one more week until it starts to cause problems for some users.
If you have not downloaded the Windows 7 Release Candidate yet to replace your older beta build, don’t wait. It will be available until the end of June 2009 for those that have not yet downloaded it.

I think your dates listed above the closing paragraphs got mixed up. :)
It’s too bad that Win 7 is going to cut on August 1st, aren’t all estimates still pointing at a late October release with ASUS being the first to offer the OS pre-loaded? If so that means we’ll have to go cold turkey on Win 7 for a couple of months. :(
